Burning Bush

Terms of Service

In effect 5 September 2026 · Privacy Policy · Delete your data

These are the terms you agree to by using Burning Bush. They are written to be read rather than to be impressive, and there is nothing hidden in them.

1. What Burning Bush is

Burning Bush is an app for memorising scripture, using the Major System, memory palaces and spaced repetition. It is provided by Kingdom Builders AI. It runs as a website and as apps for Android and iPhone; these terms cover all of them.

2. Your account

You need an account for your progress to reach your other devices. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think somebody else is using it.

You must be 13 or older to have an account of your own. A parent or guardian may set one up for a younger child and use it with them, and is responsible for it.

3. What you pay, and what you get

PlanPriceWhat it does
FreeNothing, for everThe Major System, the five books of the Torah, your first memory palace, and Matthew. It is a real free tier, not a trial
Pro, yearly$35 a yearAll 66 books, unlimited palaces, everything
Pro, monthly$5 a monthThe same, paid monthly
Group$99 a yearFive seats you hand out with a code, for a church, a class or a family

Renewal and cancellation

Refunds

If Burning Bush is not what you hoped, write to us within 30 days of paying and we will refund you. You do not have to explain yourself. After 30 days we will still listen, and will usually say yes if something has gone wrong at our end.

If you bought through the App Store or Google Play, their refund process applies instead of ours, because they took the payment rather than us.

Group licences

Giving

You can pay for other people to use Burning Bush. That money goes into a fund and is given out to people who ask for help with the cost. Two honest things about it:

Comp codes

A code we give you unlocks Pro for a limited period and then stops. It is a loan rather than a gift, and we say so at the point you enter it.

4. What you write stays yours

The memory scenes you write are yours. We claim no ownership of them and we do not use them for anything — not to train anything, not to show anybody, not to improve anything. They are stored so we can give them back to you on your other devices, and that is the whole of it.

The app itself, its design, its teaching material and its films remain ours.

The King James Version is in the public domain. Other translations are made available through licensed providers and remain the property of their copyright holders.

5. What you agree not to do

6. Stopping

You can stop whenever you like. Delete your account from inside the app or from burningbush.app/delete, and everything goes.

We may close an account that is being used to break these terms. If we ever do, we will tell you why, and we will refund whatever you have paid for and not yet had.

7. What we promise, and what we do not

Burning Bush is a memory aid. It cannot promise you will remember anything — that part is yours, and it takes real work. What we promise is that the app will do what it says, that your progress will be there when you come back, and that we will fix it when it is not.

Beyond that, the service is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will never be down, never have a bug, or suit every purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before whatever went wrong. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change something that matters, we will say so in the app's What's new screen and change the date below. Carrying on using the app after that means you accept the change; if you do not, you can delete your account and we will refund the unused part of anything you have paid.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, and any dispute belongs in the courts there. If you live somewhere whose law gives you rights that cannot be signed away, you keep them.

10. Reaching us

A person reads [email protected]. There is also a form inside the app under Profile, which is often faster, because it tells us which screen you were on.
